Who we are

What we collect, and why
Your email address, so you can sign in without a password and so we can send your login code and order messages.
Your orders: product, amount, date, status and whether the student price was used, so we can deliver what you bought and keep our accounts.
A record that you accepted the Terms, Safety notice and Refund policy: the version, the time, and a one-way hash of your IP address.
A download log: which file, when, a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser type, so we can spot abuse and help with support.
We do not collect your date of birth, address or payment card details. Payments are made outside this site.
Legal basis
We process this data to carry out the contract with you (your order and your library), to meet our tax and accounting duties, and for our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
Cookies and trackers
We use one essential cookie that keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, session recording or tracking pixels. Our fonts and photos are served from this site, not from a third party. If you use the day or night switch, your choice is saved on your own device (local storage) and is never sent to us.
Who receives your data
Service providers that run the site for us: our database and file storage provider (Supabase), our hosting provider (Vercel) and our email delivery provider (Resend). They may store data outside the Philippines. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records: for the period required by tax and accounting rules. Download logs: 12 months. Account email: until you ask us to delete it, except records we must keep.
Your rights
You can ask to see your data, correct it, object to its use, or have it erased or blocked, and you can ask for a copy. Email support@modernmarino.com. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).
